Excellent adventure in a foreign land,

This review is from: The Jaded Truth (Paperback)
RP Folsom writes a relaxed, articulate, and well-researched adventure set in Mexico and Central America. Detail on the Mexican landscape, towns, and natives gives the reader the feel of being alongside the main character as he travels and adventures, relaxes, and engages in intrigue and mystery. Written largely in the first person, you can tell that the author has been to most if not all of the locations he describes in the book, and one wonders if the "fiction" of the book doesn't parallel to a certain point the actual experiences of the author himself. This book is an easy read and a page turner of the first degree, I would recommend it to anyone who has an itch to learn about the Mexican countryside and the mysteries of the ancient Maya civilization.
