This review is from: Jades of the Liangzhu Culture (Hardcover)
I was quite disappointed after paying almost fifty dollars to get a copy of this book. This book shows pictures of 95 items in an exhibit. The only thing I learned from looking at the pictures of this book is that authentic Liangzhu pieces especially the congs (zongs) (as shown in this book) should be all "Chicken Bone White". What drives me crazy is that they put the descriptions of all the items on the back pages of the book. So in order to match the desriptions with the pictures you have to go back and forth. It will be much better if they would have talked a little bit more about how to distinguish an authentic Liangzhu jade piece from a fake one, etc. For a serious collector of the Liangzhu jades though, you should have a copy of this book if you can find it less than $30.
