Updated review: Now that i've had the jeans for a while, they definitely shrank over time. The waist sits lower and the length has shortened a few inches. I'm only 5'1" so the new length is actually a plus for me, but I would imagine this is a problem for most people. I loved the jeans specifically because of the high waist and now they are a lower rise, which is a bit disappointing.

Original Review: Perfect fit, very slimming. I plan to order several additional pairs in different styles. Love the high waist and the petite length is just right

After reading the reviews for these jeans, I decided that the pros outweighed the cons, so I ordered them. I'm in-between sizes so I ordered the smaller size based on reviews. I absolutely love the fit. For me, the waistband sits just right and does not roll down. I was afraid the band might be too high, but it sits just right. I did not wash them before wearing them for the first time and indeed, like a reviewer mentioned, they do have a slightly diesel/gas smell to them. I am hoping that this will disappear once they are washed. I wish they came in different colors for petites!

I am only 5ft 1in and the petite size is too short for me. It would only need about an inch to make them wearable with flats. But, otherwise, I love the fit and I did order the size down as others suggested. Nice color. Comfortable. Slender without being too (I am 58) tight. Straight enough to wear a tunic top with and look stylish.

I would give these pants five stars for the fit, the fabric and the wide elastic while I'm standing. But, when I sit down, they slip down and the waistband curls. I have a puffy area above my navel and under my navel, so if you have a flat abdomen, perhaps you won't have this problem. Because of what happens when I sit, I have to give these jeans three stars.

with Jag jeans I have found you must go down at least 1 size as they stretch a lot after wearing; great dark color & love the fact that there are no belt loops

I bought these jeans last month to go on a trip. I was traveling to look for a new house in another state. My other jeans with a zipper cut me in the waist. They looked like they would be a lot more comfortable. My weight goes up and down because of medications, so I thought these would be more forgiving. I was so happy when they fit! So comfortable, and stylish. A little long, I'm 5'1, and 125. . I'm hoping that they shrink a bit. As for now I just roll them up a little. I love them, and a good friend asked for the name, as she needed a pair too. I haven't washed them yet, but when I do, I'll dry them on low, then pull them out befor they are dry to check for the length. Finish drying just hanging in the laundry room. Great color.

They fit well and are very comfortable. My daughter noticed the back pockets were quite low since I don't have enough of a rear end to fill them out but they still fit better than nearly any other jeans I have ever bought. I had to shorten them nearly 6" but then I have always had to shorten just about everything I buy. I never reached 5' and am only 4'9" now that I am 80 years old so I expect that. Nice fabric to work with and they are the very dark navy blue that I hoped to get.

I have several pairs of pull-on Jag Jeans....I love them simply because they fit, look great and they are so comfortable. I have several different styles and love to wear them around the house (much better looking than sweats and just as comfy).

I thought I had finally found the perfect jean. It fit well, had a higher waistband, wouldn't show my crack when I bent over... Except after I wore them twice, the top became too stretched out to stay in place. Now they slide down and there aren't any belt loops to hold it up. Washing did not restore them to the right tautness. So they are the same as every other pair of jeans that say "screw you" to a full hourglass figure. Maybe if I had a more straight body shape. Now its on to more searching...

The fit and comfort are wonderful! ! The only problem is the strong, strong mothball-like smell. I've put them in a vinegar water soak, washed them, then a baking soda soak, then washed again, hung outside, sprayed thoroughly with Fabreeze, and still detected it when I finally wore them. Think I'll try an enzymatic washer cleaner on them next. Any. Ideas?
