Amazing cables and housings. I've dealt with the cheaper cables before, and these blow them away hands down. Comes with everything you need.

First, let me clarify that I am NO rookie at this stuff. I am 52-y/o with all of the right tools and knowledge to work on bikes. Was a professional auto mechanic and also worked at Chris Craft installing electrical system in LARGE boats. With that out of the way, on with the review.

I agree with other negative review that said, "hard to cut". I could cut it but could not get ferrules on end after cut. I used large, 10' cable cutters and tried repeatedly to get a clean cut. Then I tried a Dremmel rotary tool and that just heated-up the Kevlar and burned the outer housing causing it to swell, thus making the ferrule impossible to get on. Since I really wanted to make this stuff work, I broke-down and dropped $34 on a new pair of Park Tool cable cutters thinking these would cut it clean enough to get a ferrule on but it was not any different than my previous cuts. My 10" cable cutters from Menard's did a better job than the Park Tool cutters. So this housing caused me to WASTE $34 on a Park Tool that was inferior to the tool I already had. Luckily I had acquired this brake kit at half price, about $14.Still, highly disappointed in Jagwire for this stuff. I have lots of their other products that I love but would love to know what they were thinking when they put this stuff on the market. Great concept, looks very cool, but if you cant get a damned ferrule on the end of the cut, dont waste peoples money and tarnish your own, hard-earned reputation.
