Jailhouse Rock from Elvis' movie soundtrack became one of his biggest hits when it was released in late 1957. It stayed at the top of the charts in the US for six weeks and in the UK for three weeks. It also topped the Country and R&B charts in the US. It was certified MULTI-PLATINUM by the RIAA. An early rock classic!
