I wanted this because Pac & Pal and Pac-Man Plus have never been released on consoles, so these Jakks plug n play controllers are the only way to get them at home. This one is a better deal than Jakks Super Pac-Man TV Game, since it has all its games and all the ones from the first Jakks Pac-Man PnP. The games all seem to play well and are pretty accurate to the arcade originals.

The problem I have with it is the joystick. It doesn't move as smoothly as it ought to, and it feels like it could break if you're a little too rough with it (though mine hasn't, so I could just be overreacting).

This is so much fun. And it is just boring enough that you are not going to get addicted to Atari again like you did in 1983. This is a great gift for those friends who grew up in the 80s. No complaints. Fun toy.
Oh, I think this has a limited audience though. Don't try to give this to a 10 year old today, they will laugh at you.

I was hoping the old patterns worked, but no such luck. It is tough to relearn everything from scratch. Three weeks and the wife just beat my high score today, now at 29,000. It has brought a lot of fun into a house with 4 computers, PS, PS2, GameCube, XBox, & XBox360. I already bought a second one of these as a spare, just in case the first should break. As we were teens in the 80's, we love this game. Throw on your favorite 80's Pop or Hair band and have fun all night!!!

we bought this game for $10 on sale. It's a great value for the price and certainly entertaining enough for our kids. We did not want a big game console, but still wanted to give our children the opportunity to play some games at home. This way they get to enjoy some of the old classics. The game includes Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Galaxians, Bosconians, Dig-Dug and Ralley X -- all pretty fun and safe games for our kids.

The hand held piece is somewhat small and does not have the best hardware, but so far it's held up. However, the joy stick and the fire button are starting to show some signs of wear at times, which is not to say that they don't work. They simply have a "slow" reaction on an occasion, nothing you'd not experience at an arcade. But considering the price, it's a good deal. You could not get this much gaming for $10 if you'd gone to an arcade. The console takes 4 AA batteries and plugs directly into the front of your TV with an RCA connection, yellow and white jacks (it's mono). I recommend it -- it's a good and inexpensive way to have children play some video games.

I looked all over for this item and couldn't find it. Imagine my surprise when I found it on Amazon.com. It arrived in great shape and it's been nonstop fun for me and my family every since I received it.

I really recommend this product, my 6 years old has been playing with it since he was 4, and it still works.
Batteries last longer than expected.
Of course he does not complain about the round shape that sometimes makes it hard to find the red button.
Not educational, as almost every other game in the 80s, just for fun.

After much research online for a Ms. Pac-Man TV game, for the value, I ended up with this PAC-MAN GAME - and it is FUN! & has several other games! When I got it, I tried out all of the games - versions of Pac-Man. RALLY-X & GALLAXIAN were not games I played "back in the day", but these 2 games are also VERY FUN. I've never been a master at operating a joystick and button (: ...I see that I'm gonna have to make sure I get my chores done first before settling down to these games [I'm 49]

I sit on the floor to play. THE PROBLEM that I have with the JOYSTICK is that I have not mastered a way to keep the unit in place on the floor while I handle the joystick. Sometimes I feel like I turned the joystick up, right or whatever - and I'm off -- and GOBBLED UP! or SMASHED! I'm hoping that with more practice, I will master holding down the unit while operating the Joystick.

I did not find the SHORT CORD a problem. I had to remove 2 of my 3 VCR cords from the TV - insert the YELLOW/WHITE cords of the JOYSTICK. The VCR cord was still hanging in place to easily replace it. I was concerned that I'd have to connect the Joystick in an awkward spot on the TV, but I did not.

I keep the PAC-MAN JOYSTICK on the shelf under the TV so that I can easily get to it to connect it when I want to.

I don't know yet about how often the batteries need to be replaced, but it takes 4 AAs. The unit has a easy single-screw battery compartment.

I like that this is a simple TV PLUG AND PLAY GAME....I am still looking for a Ms. Pac-Man TV Plug & Play.

Great TV plug-in video game that's entertaining for the whole family and easy to use; plug in; no special additional equipment/console needed.

I bought this for my 38 year old hubby. He tossed it aside at first but after much persuasion hooked it up. My 38 year old brother was here visiting and I couldn't get the two of them to stop playing it. Hubby loves the Pac Man. My brother loved Galaga. Good value for some simple entertainment. Also nostalgic for our age group.

This game has all the old, original video games, pac man, etc. It is fun. I can finally beat my son at a game...I am sure that won't be true for long, though.
