We purchased 3 sets of these for my son's 12th birthday party so all the boys could play laser tag. Because the gun serves as both the firing unit and the target, this worked very well - there were no targets to strap on, get lost, etc.

The only real complaint we have is that the wiring on the reset and ammo buttons seems a little shoddy. We had to return and replace two of the sets we purchased because one of the guns in each set wouldn't work.

But overall, they worked well and the kids had a great time playing with them.

Hi everone, I am reviewing the Jakks Pacific Laser Challenge Extreme Target. I must say, this is a fun thing to use at home. with this game, you wont have to pay the cost of lazer tag somewhere else, instead, just play it at home! It is a lot of fun, I like to play it with my cousins a lot. Just make sure you have enough for everybody, and set up obsticales in the backyard!

I purchased these for Christmas, can't figure out how to work, it appears these are just guns and you need the targets still. I am doing research to find the targets, so be sure you make sure they work alone before you buy!!

My grandchildren played with these guns at my house and wanted them for their birthday. So, I was able to find them on the web and made some grandchildren very happy.

This was a great toy. It had great range, and was accurate over distances. Outdoors it worked perfectly, but indoors, you could aim almost anywhere and it would score a hit. But overall this worked well and was lots of fun.

I guess I was expecting too much from this toy. A little hard to shoot and range was not that great. Save your money.

My Son and I enjoy this item but have found these pieces to be "temperamental"... They don't always work the way they are supposed to and this is with my SECOND set, the first set did not work AT ALL and had to be exchanged... It's allot of fun when it is working though...

It was ok. I thought it would have a red laser dot coming out. It only makes sounds. They have only played with it a few times. I was a little disappointed in it. (Parent speaking)

My son got this as a gift for his birthday. He was thrilled. That was until we put the batteries in and discovered only one gun worked. I contacted the supplier and they mailed us another set. Unfortunately neither blaster in the replacement set worked either. Now we have only 1 of 4 guns that works so my son cannot play the game. I called the manufacturer and it has been 2 days and I have not heard back. Very disappointing.

I bought two sets of laser guns for Christmas gifts, they never responded to the other guns that came with them. I have tried multiple types of batteries in them and they never worked fresh out of the packaging, only one laser gun makes noise and appears to be working correctly but there is no way of checking because the other guns "arm" and "reset" buttons never worked.
I am now holding on to them awaiting a response from the seller, to either get replacements or a refund.
I'm very dissapointed that these laser guns never worked considering how highly priced the are for toys!
