I just bought this for my birthday and i play with it a lot i like how you can change his expresions and put Gary anywhere. If you like spongebob you'll like this but beware of the small parts and keep them away from small children like my brother he almost got hold of one.

This is not worth the money! Spongebob is so top heavy that he doesn't stand up on his own! I don't see anyone else that listed this as a problem, maybe its just us! haha

Spongebob/Mr. Potatohead,

My two year old seems to dig it. It is similar to Mr. Potatohead, thought it is made out of a squishier material that does collect dust rather quickly. As for the reviewer that mentioned it making an obscene gesture, Spongebob is not making an obscene gesture he is pointing. Spongebob, like a lot of other cartoon characters, lacks a pinky finger.

Made of soft rubber, spongebob is durable but collects lots of fuzzies from the carpet, etc. Easy to wash up. Inserts go in easier than with a mister potato head - makes it easier for my preschooler.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews. He is top heavy. There's also no way to store the extra parts like Mr. Potato Head. But I love Spongebob anyway and he's now a part of my collection.

Great toy! My kids are 2, 4 and 6 and they all enjoy this toy-SpongeBob has everything he needs to send your kids jelly fishing or to the Crusty Crab for a crabby patty- Educational.....sure- - challenges fine motor skills and encourages vocabulary through imagination- We love it...... Pretty boring. Body is squishy and rubbery and any lint, fuzz or dog hair sticks to it. Only a few different ways to position him with the little accessories. After a few minutes, the kids are done. Has to lie down because it won't stand up. We gave it away because my kids didn't play with it and wanted somebody else to have it. They had a friend who always took it off our shelf when he came over to play so we sent him home with it.

My son just received this toy and he loves it. He has already spent hours playing with it. The concept is very much the same as a Mr. Potato Head. I don't think that the gesture Spongebob is making is obscene at all. It looks like he is pointing at something.

This is so cute. Same idea as Mr. Potato Head but is more "current" with the times and what the kids like. I will always love Mr. Potato Head but since my kids enjoy Spongebob so much, this was perfect! Keep those little pieces together, though!
