If you are tired of reading about Jedi knight's and dead celebrities why not pick up this book? Jamaica Blood is a window in the history of the founding of the isle of Jamaica and features the global intrigue of sphere's of influence overlapping in the quest for money, colonies, trade monopolies, and conflicts in humanity and culture in this fact based work.This is a work that does not fail to teach it's readers about the terrible sacrifice a nation pays when it's expansionist ambitions fall away at the hands of angry captives.
