James Blunt has an intimate way of showing his raw emotion in his music. On the DVD that is even more apparent than in his audio album. Here is an artist that sings each song every bit as well live as he does recorded - a sign of real talent.

This DVD is a great watch if you are a fan of his music. Since his music is so much about the emotion he expresses I loves the interviews where he discusses more about what went into each song and where his inspiration came from. I'm still trying to figure out his music videos... the one for "You're Beautiful" was really striking yet simple - in line with his style - but the others are just plain weird! It's OK, though, just makes me think more intently about the songs when I hear them after seeing the things he finds important to portray in the videos.

I'm not one to really sit down and watch music on TV, but this DVD is an exception to me. James Blunt puts his heart and soul into his singing so actually seeing him express that just adds to the beauty of it. I can't wait til he comes back to the US for concerts! But, in the mean time, this will suffice.

This is the best DVD I've bought in years. The BBC Concert footage is even better than the "Back to Bedlam" CD, which I've already worn out. Seeing James Blunt perform the fantastic songs he's written is even better than just listening! He has it all: great songwriting, mesmerizing performances, and a personality both intelligent and charming. The extras on the DVD -- the videos, making-of-videos, interviews with James -- are just great! The DVD is worth double what it cost.

I love this dvd! My favorite song is wisemen. Some things I don't understand like the three guys dressed up in faces just like James Blunt? I'll admit though it was refreshing to see a different stage set up other than just an amp and a guitar.

Wow! What can I say. I haven't seen the HD version but this is great! Great content with the videos and the BBC concert. I have recommended this to friends. It is one of those DVD's that you can just press PLAY and listen, watch with friends. It is just a great chill video with a lot of emotion. I am getting more of his DVD's in the future.

I saw this concert originally on INHD2 (Called "An Evening With James Blunt"), in 1080i Hi-definition with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. It was spectacular. So much so that I recorded it on my HD DVR, and view it regularly. But I wanted a copy I could play away from the DVR, or home for that matter, so I bought this DVD.

Regardless of the format, the content is great. An intimate concert with a small string section, with James' unique music. I actully like his performance in this concert better than the studio version of "Back To Bedlam", and normally I'm not a live music fan. Unfortunately, the video downconvert from hi-def to standard definition is unimpressive. Mediocre picture quality. The audio is just -- OK. Guess I got spoiled watching it in HD, and I was let down.

Maybe when the DVD manufacturers settle the Hi-Def format battle, they'll re-release this in it's 1080i splendor. I'm waiting for that day. If you get the chance to see it in HD, do it. In the meantime, this disc will definitely suffice.

Me ratifico en el título de esta "review" muy buen dvd, atractiva presentación, excelente el concierto y las entrevistas pero tiene un pequeño problema que se esta volviendo una mala costumbre de algunas compañias discográficas: falta el videoclip y su making off de "Goodbye my lover" que si estaba incluido en otra edición (cd+dvd) de este mismo álbum.

Al parecer para determinadas zonas o ediciones cambian los contenidos de los productos lo que me parece una gran injusticia y desilusión ya que lo justo es que sea LO MISMO PARA TODOS.

I love this video, its so wonderful to see and know that he is even better live than he is on his albums. Thats not easy.

Welcome James Blunt! Those of us who love lyrics..moving, emotional, inspiring and thought provoking lyrics welcome James Blunt into our lives. We've missed you! Never since John Lennon have I felt such emotion listing to a song. I mean ALL of his songs. There isn't one song in which I haven't connected with and loved hearing over and over again. Finally music with soul. Music with real meaning. My meaning being different from his or yours, but meaning none the less. FINALLY! This video also gives us a small glimpse into the very funky personality of James Blunt.

James Blunt's haunting voice is something his fans can never get enough of ... but, to watch him perform the songs he has written ... to watch his face as he sings the words that MEAN something to him ... to watch the tears well up in his eyes when he sings Goodbye My Lover and No Bravery ... songs taken from his life ... makes this one of the very best muscical DVDs I've ever bought. I can't wait until a DVD comes out of the perforamces of the songs on his 2nd CD All the Lost Souls. It's extremely rare for me to be able to say that I like EVERY SINGLE SONG on a CD ... but this man's music is someting that can be listened to over and over ... and the music DVD can be watched again and again, and it continues to touch the heart with James' sincerity in his music that can be read on his face.

This is a fun way to get to know James better.
