In a sure sign that video games are as powerful as movies, the latest James Bond game has all the actors, all the action, all the effects - and isn't based on a movie!

Perfect for fans of New Orleans, a lot of the story takes place in that historic city of Louisiana. James Bond has the fast cars, the sexy, intelligent women, and the self assured skills that get him out of any jam.

All the actors and actresses are here, and it makes a HUGE difference to hear John Cleese, Judi Densch, Pierce Brosnan and all the other voices speaking to you while you play. The likenesses are all very accurate too, so it really is like playing a movie.

Where some previous Bond games were more like Rambo, this one is pure Bond. You get special bonus points for doing a special Bond Move where you defeat your enemies with a brilliant strategy instead of just blasting them. It's more Splinter Cell rather than Unreal II.

The graphics are great, with little spider robots, slick cars, well done smoke and fire and other atmospheric effects. You really do feel like you're in a movie and not looking at a texture-mapped building.

Gameplay is great, too. The enemies show some amazing AI in sequences. It might get a little used to the gameplay style, but stick with it. After a few hours of the learning curve (which a well done training level works you through) you will be totally immersed in this world.

Replayability is just amazing, too. You go through once to get the basic idea of the level. But then you keep going through aiming for those Bond moments, and trying to ratchet your score up by doing it quickly and accurately. If you're able to get on Platinum Level in all missions, you unlock new bonusses.

Everyone I know who has seen and played this game loves it, and we ourselves are quite addicted to it right now. There are stealth missions, driving missions, shooting missions, even ride-and-shoot missions. The cut scenes are great, too!

I definitely rate this one a must-buy for any fan of the Bond series, and for any action gamer in general. Enjoy!!

I've read the reviews, both good and bad, and I have to say that I really enjoy the game. The controls are pretty simple (except for driving, which I think may be a bit oversensitive) and I picked them up rather quickly. The graphics are spectacular, like watching a movie, and the voices really give it a cinematic feel. No, it's not the hardest game to master, but it's a fun game to play. Despite what others have said I found plenty of things to shoot at; yes, there's stealth required at times, but that's to be expected from a Bond game.

If you are looking for a challenging game with a lot of puzzles and riddles, go buy Tomb Raider or something. If you want a fun-filled afternoon, but Everything or Nothing. I also recommend Kill.Switch but that's just for the total mayhem and violence that you can create. I'm versatile that way.

As a rule, I haven't been overly impressed with James Bond games in the past. The exception to this rule, of course, was the superb and seminal 'Goldeneye' for the Nintendo 64.

Most of the problem is that the Bond games until now have failed to convey the fun and fury of the movies. This is ironic, considering how much like a video game the games increasingly feel. I think Electronic Arts may have crossed an invisible line in the sand with 'Everything or Nothing'. It may be that we don't need the movies anymore. After all, wouldn't you rather play James Bond than watch some actor playing James Bond?

Maybe not. Regardless, 'Everything or Nothing' hits several important benchmarks for being a Bond game and nearly seemlessly blends storytelling with the action set pieces.

Like a Bond movie, the game starts with a stellar action scene. The third person perspective adds volumes to the "Bond feel" of the game. The graphics are so good, you could almost believe you were directing a movie. Gameplay is intercut with effective in-game movies which actually help add to the atmosphere and help move the story along.

It's obvious EA hired decent writers as well as the legitimate actors for this game. Pierce Brosnan was the physical model for the last Bond game, 'Nightfire', but he didn't voice his character. Instead, they chose a far posher English guy with a "plum in his mouth". I could have done a better Bond impression (but then again, I am English).

Brosnan, Judi Dench and Richard Kiel as well as John Cleese all make extensive appearances in the game having been scanned by computer and do their own voices. The effect is a blurring of the movies and the game and it works to great effect.

The game mechanics themselves are much improved over 'Agent Under Fire' and 'Nightfire'. As stated, the portions of the game playing Bond first-hand have dispensed with a first-person view and introduced a third person perspective. The game borrows much from 'Splinter Cell' but it all works out very well. Fighting hand to hand is fun. Nothing like punching out a bad guy, smacking him into a wall, then throwing him over your shoulder.

Sadly, the car and helicopter missions aren't as enjoyable as the first person shooter portions. The game engine feels overly sensitive. I enjoyed the first car mission as you chase a train through an Eygptian environment but I felt like success was less about skill than keeping my fingers firmly on the gas and the missle launcher. By comparison, a lot of the first person chapters emphasize stealth, strategy and accurate shooting. Yum.

The variety of weaponary available and the sound of the various guns is superb. The joy of rappelling down the side of a building cannot be underestimated. I only hope the next Spider-Man game will be as exhilarating.

Multiplayer: 'Everything or Nothing' comes with online accessibility but I can't comment on that aspect as I don't play my PS2 online although I may try it with this game. I enjoyed the cooperative play immensely. The screen splits horizontally and works very well. Perhaps out of necessity, the missions in the Co-op differ from the single player game. I initially hoped that you'd be able to play the entire game as a single and Co-op but no. Haven't been able to finish the second level of the Co-op yet, but it's still fun. Sadly, the 1-4 multiplayer isn't as good as the one that came with 'Nightfire'. My daughter and I enjoyed teaming up on Nightfire to kill the four Bots sent against us. This option isn't available in 'Everything or Nothing'. In fact, the multiplayer "Arena" isn't even open by default. You have to get to a certain point on the Co-op before you can play. Hopefully a cheat will be available soon.

Overall - excellent job EA. This is the first true Bond game.

James Bond games have been selling sky high ever since the fantastic debut of Goldeneye. They were all so much fun and you couldn't ever get tired of them, but there was one thing that many people requested-a third person mode of agent 007. Now, that option is finally here with enhanced picture and sound that will launch you beyound the games action! Now with the great video performace of video game consoles, the picture is so clear and acute that it litterally makes it much more fun to play or watch! But what is really great about this game, is that it keeps the persona of James Bond. Most games now are just shoot 'em up, blow this and that up, then complete the game within a matter of hours because there isn't any challenge, except this one. It has realistic objectives like those that you would see in a 007 movie, the picture is so0o0o clear its like you're watching movie, the challenge is enticing and fun, and best of all-it has a good plot! But of course James Bond still has some old habits of his: fancy cars (Porsche Cayenne, Aston Martin Vanquish, modified motorcycles, race cars etc.), Q's handy gadgets and gizmo's, beatiful women, worthy adversaries, and of couse: vodka martini; shaken, not stired. This game is so much fun to play you'll absolutely love it! Even if you were dissapointed by Die Another Day (i sure was), this game is one hell of a welcome back! My hat goes off to EA Games on this one!

This is the best Playstation 2 game period. I have played a lot of playstation 2 and this game has it all. Even the novice gamer will love this game. The graphics are great, I love the third person perspective, much better than Nightfire or Agent Under Fire.

Many different missions, a game you will never tire of.

I have gotten through the first six levels of this game and I can tell you this game is loads of fun. Great graphics, great gadgets and a wonderful storyline. All the main Bond actors lend their voices and likeness to the game which adds to the realism. When you have to repeat game levels your opponents actually remember your tendancies and lay in wait for you. If you don't believe me that this is a great game, read the reviews of the gaming publications, they all love this game and you will too.

When I finished GoldenEye for the N64 several years ago, I thought, "Wow, we've got a lot to look forward to as endless sequals of Bond action comes out." Well, several mediocre titles later, only one of which I bothered to purchase, comes Everything or Nothing. It just happens to be the best action game made to date for the PS2 in my opinion.

I had become so jaded to the degradation of the Bond license that it took some glowing reviews from magazines before I would even rent this game. Once I did, I bought it, and have spent many hours trying to achieve the various objectives embedded in each mission.

This game plays like a Bond movie. It has Hollywood actor voice overs and characterizations. You can recognize Pierce Brosnan, Willem Dafoe, Shannon Elizabeth, etc. I would even go so far as to say this game version is better than the last actual Bond movie, Die Another Day (a North Korean villain with metal stuck in his face and an ice palace, come on, give me a break).

Beyond that superficial stuff is the gameplay, which is excellent. There are usually various ways to accomplish an objective, usually one involving stealth and one with guns blazing.

The later missions are quite challenging, and the story is good, even if a little far-fetched. The missions in New Orleans are partularly fun, and the various "Bond moments" scattered throughout the game add a lot of depth and keep the game from being just another first person shooter.

One small note to EA: ditch Jaws. I think I've killed him 24 times in three different games. Get another classic villain to use.

James Bond Nightfire was one hell of a game. The most noticeable difference when it comes to Everything Or Nothing is it is a completely different perspective. Third Person helps the game by making it easier to interact with the surroundings.There are extremely few camera problems and it is simple to adjust the camera. Bond is back with weapons and gadgets to trick and kill the enemies. There is the Q Spider which gets to places Bond can't reach, Dragunov which is more or less a sniper, Rappel which that helps you climb up and down walls and Nano Suit which makes you invisible for a short period of time Definetely more than 20 but I don't want to give away to much. Something else I nearly forgot to mention is the brand new hand-to-hand combat system. If Bond does well enough he will enter power mode. There are loads of exciting and thrilling missions. Some of them may require you to drive to certain places in order to complete objectives. There are lots of different vehicles like motorbikes, Aston Martin and rally car.
Most of the missions are quite simple, although there can be a few that you may get stuck on for a while. In between missions there is MI6 Interlude which upgrades your weapons and gadgets. For me I like my controls intuitive and fun. Lucky for me and everybody the controls cannot get easier. L1 to target and R1 to shoot. Left analog stick to control James and vehicles. R2 for wall cover, L2 to crouch and left or right on the d-pad( directional buttons) to enter Bond Sense. The sound is pretty clear and cool but nothing that pushes the capability of the PS2 to the MAX. Some of the best graphics for any Bond game, or any EA game for that matter. It is slick and is certainly one of the reasons this is a 5 Star game. I have nearly completed the levels in the Single Player mode. The Multiplayer well WOW! I am currently playing this now with a mate on Co-Op mode and it just entanced me to the screen. There is also Races in Multiplayer but Co-Op is super duper. Absolutely nothing beats playing with your mates. Great Single Player, Great Multiplayer and a Great game. Another EA Classic, easily matches the quality of Goldeneye. This is by far one of the greatest games ever made. It is entirely unique from all other 007 games yet has all of the things a good action game needs. To start the new hand to hand combat mode is increadibly realistic. It mimics the fighting moves bond does in the movie. Second piloting all sorts of vehicles in several levels is awesome. You go from the Porsche SUV to a motorcycle to a helicopter to a tank to an Ashton Martin Vanquish to a delivery truck. (Plus those are just the first 10 levels) The plot of Everything Or Nothiing is better than some of the real 007 movie plots. There are a ton of levels that can be played on three different skill sets. This game incorperates more gadgets and weapons then ever before. There's even a gadget that lets you walk down walls and an explosive remote controll spider. If all the high tech stealth stuff isn't for you,you can still just run in and bust a machine gun. Everything Or Nothing is seriously an amazing game. If you didn't like Nightfire than you should be pleasently surprized about this game. They are totally different. I would recomend this for anyone however, It is rated teen for a good reason. (Violence mainly and a lot of pretty girls... It is James Bond)Please give what I believe to be the best game of the young year a try, it will blow you away.

This is probabbly the best Bond game made so far. It packs tons off Bond action, gadgets and even some pretty cool Bond moves. In this cool new Bond installment instead with sticking to the old first person shooter they went with third peron. This new installmant is the evolution in Bond games. Some of the actual Bond actors were put into the game also like John Cleese (Q) and Pierce Brosnan (as Bond).
