Designed in the form of a scrapbook with photographs, handwritten notes, and bits of poetry, the volume also features drafts of the James screenplay and photos from the shoot. Perhaps most interesting are the written and visual explanations of live-action and stop-action filming as well as casting notes. Lucy's affection for her father infuses the book, along with plenty of examples of his wit and understanding of children. Libraries will want to have this tie-in title on hand when the film debuts. This book is pretty interesting. This book shows how the Disney movie "James and the Giant Peach" was made. If you liked the Disney movie and book itself, you will probably like this scrapebook.

The product that I ordered was in mixed shape. The front and back covers were in pretty bad shape- bent, dog-eared corners, food stains (I hope it's food stains) and binding ripped. The inside of the book was in ok condition considering the shape the covers were in.
