A Guide to Ulysses,

This review is from: James Joyce's Odyssey: A Guide to the Dublin of Ulysses (Hardcover)
30 years ago, Frank Delaney put together a book (Jame Joyce's Odyssey, A Guide to the Dublin of Ulysses" in which he recreates the day's journey through the streets of Joyce's Dublin. While much has changed in Dublin, the book is extremely helpful in guiding the reader through a difficult novel, casting light on aspects of Joyce's life, and his Ireland. As timely today as when it was written.

This review is from: James Joyce's Odyssey: A Guide to the Dublin of Ulysses (Hardcover)
This book is James Delaney's explanation of the James Joyce book "Ulysses", which is about a day in the life of Dublin. No one but Joyce would be able to write thousands of pages about 24 hours of life on earth and keep it mind boggling. James Delaney explains this day, known worldwide as "Bloom's Day", in a clear and shorter manner. Delaney's book is very enjoyable.James Joyce said he would write a book that would keep the professors busy for years. He did.
