This book is a very simplistic overview of the life of James Polk. It is suitable for those looking to find out the BAREST MINIMAL details of this great man's life.Instead, I recommend _James K. Polk_ by Sean McCollum. For juvenile non-fiction, it gives the same information, but with more detail... just enough to give a sense of the man and the time he lived. |
