Just arrived today. This will probably become my favorite bible of all! I own several versions,and presently carry "The Rainbow Study Bible" to church, because of it's size and it is easy on the eyes. (However the system of color codes for study is impossible for me to remember). Without a doubt this will be the one carried now, as it is also just the right size,not too large or heavy, easy to read and the real frosting,is the one that I ordered and received is also "thumb-indexed"! The concordance is pretty meager,but since I have a Strongs Concordance,I am not going to complain. I'm surprised this is not a top-seller of KJV Bibles!I am very pleased.Thank You Amazon!Edited 7/4/2008 Please be advised this is not the edition that I purchased,as my edition has the very much appreciated, thumb-indexing!

Just bought this Bible from Amazon as a gift and paid for overnight shipping (which I assume I will lose on the refund). I am returning this Bible today because the type-size is actually 11.5 - too small to read even in the best of light if you have vision/reading issues. The type size is clearly indicated on the back of the cardboard cover. Too bad it is not included in the product description. I have since visited a book store and learned that GIANT print can be anything from 11 pt to 18 pt type, not the 14 pt I already own. Very disappointed in this purchase. Type size should be required in all LARGE and GIANT Bible product descriptions.

This is the second one of these I have bought - the first was for my husband and the second was for a dear friend. They both love the book - they find the print easy to read - the thumb index makes keeping up with our pastor much easier and the words of Christ are in red. This is a great book for you or to give to someone interested in the Bible
