This is a great Bible easy to read because of the print size. Also easy to find chapters with thumb index. I would recommend this bible to all KJV readers. Great value for the price.

I went to a local bookstore and compared every large print King James bible they had. This one had the largest print and was also the clearest print. I don't need giant print, I just find it more comfortable to read.
The ink they used was blacker than the others and the paper they used was whiter too. However the rest of the book is nothing to write home about. The leather is bonded and kind of cheap. The ribbon marker is barely the size of a shoestring.
I figured if I stuck with this bible long enough, I would wear it out and then send off the nice pages (by far the best part of this bible) to a bindery and have it rebound in genuine leather and have them sew in 2 or 3 nice wide satin marker ribbons.

Contrary to what some of the reviewers have said here, this edition is definitely NOT THUMB INDEXED. However, Zondervan does offer an excellent Giant Print KJV Bible here, and the bold print is very easy on the eyes. An Amazon customer service representative assured me that this was in fact thumb indexed, but he was definitely mistaken. I returned mine and paid a bit more for the thumb indexed edition, but in my opinion, it was well worth the extra money.

Price is great. The type is very readable and bold. Study helps in the back (miracles, parables, Jesus' ministry in chronological order etc) and reading plan in the front are very helpful. But what really makes me ADORE this version is the KJ translators noted in by the references. There are many (45,000?) cross references in this Bible, and in the center column with them are the translator notes. It is rare to find this in KJ Bibles these days. Think NASB translator notes but with the expertise of these men shedding light on the Hebrew/Greek giving us even more of the nuance of the words.

I buy these to give out, and bought one for myself to get rebound for much use. Wish I had known about this years ago. For once, kuddo's to Zondervan for this one!

I love the King James bible, and this one is fantastic. The print is big, it's got a decent concordance, and the leather cover is nice. There are no footnotes or character profiles, but then again, this is not a study bible. I read the entire thing in 2 weeks and 4 days, and it was quite an enjoyable reading experience. I recommend it.

My mom, who recently moved into an assisted living center, asked for a new set of scriptures to use with their Bible study (and who WOULDN'T honor their mother's request for a new Bible!). I wanted something with large print and modestly priced. It was just what she wanted, and she enjoys using it every day.

This bible is excellent for someone needing help reading small text. The bible is excellent to carry to church or bible study. Size is large but not too large, not small to stick in a purse. The seller provides excellent service, received Bible within 5 days.

Great quality Bible, large print is great for my failing eyes. Book tabs are also very nice to have. I am very pleased with this Bible.

I purchased this item, as I am in a bible study at my church. I found this bible very easy to quickly find each chapter, for quick reference. It is very legible, as well.
