This review is from: The Jamesonian Unconscious: The Aesthetics of Marxist Theory (Post-Contemporary Interventions) (Hardcover)
For anyone who has spent the time to read thoroughly, and come to some reasonable understanding of, Jameson's "The Political Unconscious" this book comes across as a very average experiment in creative writing by someone who pulled some string to get it across the presses.
For undergraduate students who have attempted to understand Jameson's "The Political Unconscious" and struggled, this book is a starting point. Frankly, I give most intelligent undergraduates more credit than that. |
