Have been patiently searching for one of these packs in the navy blue and found it on Amazon for a great price and free shipping! JOY
These backpacks wear like iron and especially like the suede leather bottom. Kept buying the cheap knock-offs and they quickly wear out and the zippers fail, so go ahead and purchase one of these.

I've been using this backpack on my return to school for my master's for many months now, and it's most definitely holding up its end of the bargain. I've packed this with a laptop, many books, notebooks, and more. I've always been a hardcore Jansport fan -- as my blue Jansport survived middle school, high school, and almost ALL of college!

The product is beautiful and very very durable for my daughter's million school books. She loves the design and I love the quality.

I recently purchased this backpack for my son who was starting seventh grade. I had the same style/brand myself in middle and high school...and the quality hasn't changed! Durable and good looking it is everything I expected it to be. Highly recommended- especially if you have a rough boy with a ton of books to carry around!!

Compared to the previous version of the Right Pack (I bought my in year 2000) the front compartment is bigger and better. The zipper on the main compartment doesn't slide down to the leather bottom which I really dislike and which makes the bottom of the main compartment not as usable as it was on my old bag.
As for the fabric - I love this pattern.
It didn't withstand a heavy rain. Everything got soaked in it.

All I can say I bought this backpack in 1991 and it is just now having the threading in the front pocket break apart! The leather bottom although a slightly stained is completely intact! I wish I could upload a picture to show you guys.

I am looking for a new one but cant seem to find one in Black.

It is well worth the effort so I will keep looking.

You won't go wrong in purchasing this backpack. They last a long time because they are made with quality. I won't buy another brand.

I have used this backpack in high school and it worked great then. I have used many other backpacks over the years, but none were as good as this one, they either had too few pockets or were too bulky or couldn't hold enough. So I went back to something that worked for me before and it's working great now. I am a college student so what I need to carry changes a lot. It's a great backpack and I will probably stick to Jansport from now on.

I like this backpack,though when i first received it, i found it somewhat bigger than i expected. The design is very loud, that's why i chose it--i like bright colors. I'm not sure if it go with my warm-colored clothes, but my friends say that it does and they like it.Well, that's good.

The quality is good,that's for sure.
