It's about time...,

Finally. That's the only thing I have to say. After two years of waiting for this CD it's finally here for all music lovers to enjoy. I've always loved the story of Jane Eyre, but this score allows the true passion and purity to shine through. The oboe solo in Jane's Theme is overwhelmingly lush and rich. No one who hears this piece would ever think anything is lacking at all.

To start with, I totally disagree with Joseph Lanza's review, who pretends that this soundtrack is dull. Instead, this soundtrack immerses you in its music starting from its first track, which not only introduces the movie, but announces to us that Jane Eyre is not only a romance, but also someone who will be living a great identity quest, her life to put it simply.Of all the movie soundtracks that I have, this is probably the one which I will always love to play over and over again, either on a cd or in my head. Not only is it moving, but the composers, Alessio Vlad and Claudio Capponi, manages to represent various periods of Jane Eyre's life. Her childhood, her friendship with Helen, her pains and suffering at her relatives' house, at her boarding school, and through her adulthood, as she passes to Thornfield Hall and meets, apart from Helen and Miss Temple, the first people who ever respected and loved her. Not only that, I think it also works as a soundtrack while reading the novel. It is a great buy that everyone or every library should get for I didn't expect to be this moved and amazed by its incredible humanity and array of emotions.
