About the Author
Jamie Hunter was awarded an RAF Flying Scholarship in 1990 where he was trained to fly in Cessna 152s and went solo after only 8 hours. Since then he has visited many of the major air bases in Europe and North America where he has flown in numerous aircraft types including, KC-135s, Tornado GR1 and F-15E Strike Eagle. He has written articles for a variety of aerospace publishers and has worked for Jane's Information Group, as a consultant since the mid-1990s. In 2001 Jamie was appointed editor of Jane's Aircraft Upgrades. He is currently concentrating on completing analysis for the online version, which will cover the global upgrade industry
