Coverage indicates the status of each manufacturer's programmes, traces their development histories, identifies key contracts and customers, and reveals the main teaming and sub-contracting agreements. The section on Russian aircraft has been expanded, providing drawings and descriptions of the Mikoyan1-42 multi-role combat aircraft and the Sukhoi T60S intermediate-range bomber. Tables of production for military aircraft are broken down by variant and by customer. The directory also provides expert analyses of more than 1200 aircraft in current production or under development. Dimensions, weights, loadings and performance are covered, as are flying controls, landing gear, power plants, systems, avionics and armament. Three-view drawings are provided for almost all of the aircraft covered, and other illustrations include cut-away perspective drawings, cabin cross-sections, seating plans, structural layout drawings and 1000 photographs. The section on engines details performance ratings, dimensions, mechanical arrangement and fuel consumption for more than 280 engines. This yearbook is available separately or with an accompanying "Information Package" which delivers 11 update bulletins reporting on new aircraft, programme developments, upgrades, new contracts and more, plus a Special Report.
