Definately a fave!! I love Janet and she definately didn't disappoint. Her music, dancing, entertaining fantasy performances ("Would You Mind"), and just down right sex appeal made this DVD a hit! A definate MUST have.

Totally unfamiliar with Ms. Jackson and those who perform in similar style, I still found this concert highly entertaining. True, I heard none of the lyrics to what I assumed were songs, the audience presumably having learned them from other sources before the concert. The sets were striking as was the dancing. All performers were able and made a good impression. Ms. Jackson was the star and performed as one. One marked difference from short form video, to be noted in opera live performance as well, is the constant perspiration which cannot be masked. Whether this will detract from your pleasure is a matter of taste. All in all, I can recommend this to all save those who might find the overt sexuality disturbing.

I love the entertainment from the Jackson family. Of course Michael is my favorite, Janet is second. It is a very good video, I take it every time I go out of town and show it, everyone loves it.

I LOVED this DVD. Janet Jackson is one of my all-time favorite live performers and this DVD did not disappoint.

Janet Jackson is one of Americas greatest artist there is. No other American musical female artist has open door as she has... This video is proof she is a great talent it is enjoyable and exciting... great dance moves, singing, stage show, costumes etc... It's a great video...I can't say enough I have love Janet for a very long time. I am her age and I feel like I grew up with her. I have been to many of her concerts watch her movies etc... At times I feel like I have grown up with her. If you to enjoy a great concert this in the VIDEO you want to own... You will LUV it.....

I love the All For You Tour. I was able to see the show in Chicago & was instantly amazed at seeing Janet strut her stuff on stage. Janet is one of those artists that you will not be disappointed to see! She's got it all: stage persona, vocals, and dancing ability as she is backed by her band and dancers! The stage is very nice as it is minimal including 3 jumbotrons, two staircases, and elevator platforms for Janet's band. The stage is transformed from a whimsical playland to a Japanese metropolitan! Here's the setlist (of the concert, not the DVD):
ACT 1 - The Light (note: I dubbed the acts)
1. Intro/Come On Get Up - Janet comes on stage with bang (literally) as she descends from a platform along with her dancers to perform Come On Get Up! A nice way to kick off the show!
2. You Ain't Right - Janet performs with two of her female dancers.
3. All For You - the stage reveals the jumbotrons and her band as she peforms her hit single from the All for You [Extra Track] album.
4. Love Will Never Do (Without You)
ACT 2 - The Dark
5. Trust A Try - Janet and her dancers are dressed as zombies/vampires to go along with the theme of the song.
6. Slow Jam Medley - Come Back To Me/Let's Wait Awhile/Again - Janet slows it down and showcases her vocals. The audience sings along as well.
ACT 3 - Whimsical/PlayLand
7. Whimsical Medley - Runaway, Miss You Much, When I Think Of You/Escapade - a nice act showing Janet's playful side (although she has included this act on many of her tours such as janet., Velvet Rope, and the recent Rock Witchu Tour). Janet and her dancers have playful costumes (but I think she looks like a teletubby) and the stage is transformed into a play land that inludes jumbo jack-in-the-boxes and letter blocks.
ACT 4 - Street
8. Son Of A Gun - a pretty dark performance as Janet performs with her male dancers. This performance includes a cameo by Missy Elliot.
9. Groove Medley - Got 'Til It's Gone/That's The Way Love Goes - Janet slows it down just a bit and sings with her background singers.
10. Control Medley - What Have You Done For Me Lately (87' Grammy Version)/Control/Nasty
ACT 5 - Swing
11. Alright - Janet and her dancers reinact the Alright music video
ACT 6 - Sensuality
12. Love Scene (Ooh Baby) - interlude
13. Would You Mind - Janet comes out in a very sexy catsuit and pulls a male audience member on stage and seduces him. Note: this performance is not for children under 14!
ACT 7 - Modern Japan
14. If - the stage is transformed into a Japanese metro area with glowing Japanese symbols(hiragana, katakana, & kanji). Janet and her female dancers are dressed in kimono tops, shorts, and bows while the male dancers are dressed in kimonos and hakama replicas. Janet and her crew perform the same choreography in the music video.
15. Black Cat - Janet takes the stage with her guitarist to perform the hard rock song!
16. Rhythm Nation/The Knowledge - Janet and her dancers are dressed in black and perform the same choreography from the music video. The performance ends with a bang (literally)!
ACT 8 - Encore
17. Doesn't Really Matter - Janet and her dancers are dressed in "regular" clothes and peform the same choreography from the music video. Janet introduces the audience to her band and dancers; she also reveals that this concert is the final night of the All For You tour.
18. Someone To Call My Lover - Janet sings and asks the audience to sing along with her. One of my favorite songs from the album and definitely enjoyed hearing it live!
19. Together Again - the final performance of the night! Janet and her dancers jump along with audience (amazing energy) - a tradition since the Velvet Rope Tour. As Janet bids goodbye, she states "God Bless on your journey of life! I love you so much! Thank you! Goodnight!!" An amazing song to end the show!

This is Janet Jackson's All For You World Tour Live In Hawaii, reworked from her double DVD Janet Jackson Collector's Edition (Velvet Rope Tour/Live in Hawaii) to have a much more sharp sound, high definition viewing, and enhanced, improved menu including effects and more! Janet Jackson delivers a performance straight from the heart wowing crowds, tearing some, and bringing smiles all across! She takes her talent to give a full total performance from dancing, changing outfits, singing, and pouring her love! It's her true sparkle, her night to shine in Hawaii, and her splash to give her performance of a life-time! This is an all time classic to view decades and decades!

This DVD has been remastered to improve sound quality adding a more "in depth" "up close" vibe as compared to the earlier releases. The result is a closer look at Janet, a better overall sound very much bouncing back once the older DVD is played and later this one. It's a lower muffled not as pretty menu on the first, while the second is a huge leap in sound, and overall effects plus diverse menu. It includes an exclusive Interview with Janet talking about each number, the show, and her overall projections of her music, personality, and expectations of it all!

The true art and beauty of the entire viewing is its contents, more specifically JANET. She comes on stage with a beautiful outfit in white to sing her first numbers all giving just a different taste to enjoy in terms of dance, uplift, and happy type songs. Then as her audience and viewer feels extremely elevated she brings the beautiful ballads like "Come Back To Me", "Let's Wait A While", and "Again" definitely creating a storm of love. So much crowd "over zealousness" didn't allow Janet to finish singing "Again" without getting emotional and sentimental--it's moments as those that one can see Janet's true down-to-earth qualities, humbleness, and sweetness.

Her All For You Album was definitely showcased with excellent choreography, dancing, and singing. The stage lighting, and costume changes were bright and sparkly with an array of colors thus bringing about moods to feel happy, energized, and uplifted. Her "Escapade" number brought exactly that vibe of feeling in a fantasy, away from the real world and with much joy and happiness.

Highlights to definitely enjoy and true favorites would include "Son Of A Gun" for it's phenomenal dancing, attitude marked choreography, and Missy Elliott's appearance. The entire number was anything but ordinary as it keeps the viewer in "I want more" mode. And when the juices are flowing for more then comes, "Got 'Till It's Gone" from her Velvet Rope Album. What a way to know how to put the songs in the exact order to create a buzz, an excitement, and desire for more! The show starts getting more and more vibrant as she sings her nice songs from her janet. album like "That's The Way Love Goes", and "What Have You Done For Me Lately" --definite show stoppers!

When the heat feels like it can't get any hotter she performs, "Control", "Nasty", "Alright", and simmers the mood right with the sensual "Would You Mind". Following the interaction with the crowd for that "off the record" sensual side, she then brings her famous hits like: "If", "Black Cat", and "Rhythm Nation".

My favorite part aside the "Control", "Son Of A Gun", "If" and "Nasty" numbers would be the last ones as she is in jeans and a white top giving a more softer down-to-earth side that many come to love --especially her devoted fans. She sings "Doesn't Really Matter", "Someone To Call My Lover" and "Together Again". It ends with sparkles, and extreme joy as she states in the Interview portion of this DVD that the entire concert and show was aimed at putting a smile on peoples faces, and a feel good mood. Apparently, she definitely hit the nail on the head as this proved to be a remarkable show definitely memorable and comparable to her other outstanding masterpieces like Rhythm Nation Album and The Velvet Rope Tour.

The video is very good i like it the picture quality is good nice continue that way .
