About the Author
Steve Banks is a self-taught photographer who has supported his passion for photography while working as an advertising agency commercial producer and as partner in Wright-Banks Films, a successful commercial production company located in Los Angeles, California. He has adopted a documentary approach to portraiture, capturing the images of film makers, pop and jazz musicians and the celebrated -- including a president of the United States. If he finds them interesting, he will photograph them.

Black and White photos with some text of Janis Joplin's concert at Madison Square Garden. Banks capture's the spirit Janis. Photojournalism at it's best. An excellent discography as well in included. Well worth having in your library

The book has many blank pages...the photo are okay. 2 are good, but not worth it to me.
