I've made several felt Christmas stockings kits over the years and this one is one of my favorites. The surprise was that this stocking is 24" long, not 18" like all of the other ones I've made. This was disappointing, because it's a beautiful stocking, with over 100 pieces to be sewn. It takes more time to complete than the usual designs. It should be made clear in the advertising and packaging that it is significantly longer than any other similar felt stocking it may be hanging next to. It kind of looks like "Mom likes me best". It's a wonderful kit, but keep the size you want in mind.

I bought this kit because I loved the look of it. I was apalled by the lack of directions in making it. There were simply numbers and symbols and no written directions to guide me. I ended up cutting and attaching appliques in an order that didn't make sense and would end up taking it apart and starting over again. I had to refer to the picture and figure out a way to sew it myself. I would not buy another kit from this company. It was not enjoyable to complete it.

I love making these stockings as gifts for friends and family...They are very time consuming and the instructions can be frustrating for first time users but the end results are amazing...The recipients of these stockings will cherish them for years to come...This one is a gift for my first great grandson...
