This is the first counted cross stitch afghan I've done. I've done plenty of stamped cross stitch afghans for my grandchildren but I thought I'd try something a little different. I actually like this better. I do have to get used to the blanket material versus the cotton material but it is fun to watch it come alive on the afghan instead of just sewing on the pattern already stamped.
