Fantastic machine, June 7, 2009

I've had this machine for a couple of months now, and it's great. I've always enjoyed sewing, but whenever my cheap machines would jam. the bobbin thread would run out, or one of any number of other bothersome things happened, I would quit. The HT2008 automatically takes care of a lot of those things and makes the others simple and quick to take care of. The feet are easy to change, the bobbin is easy to fill from a separate spool, it feeds evenly, the tension takes care of itself... It's also sturdy and attractive. I'm very glad I spent the extra money to get this machine instead of a cheaper one. It does just what I need.

Replaced by 35 year old sewing machine with this model a year ago. It's like trading your old film camera for a digital model. It is so quiet, smooth and effortless. There are things to learn and I do recommend a lesson from a competent instructor if you want to start learning fast. It does 99% of what the average sewing enthusiast would want and does it extremely well. Superior product.
