5.0 out of 5 stars Monkeys and Mysteries! Cam again!
You have to love Cam Jansen. When you're a kid, you read all of these stories about magic powers, mystery, and adventure. But everyone tells you magic can't exist. Cam Jansen manages to solve every case without the use of magic... she's a real girl. That's what makes her special and what makes you want to read more and more. Cam Jansen is a real kid superhero, and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good book for second grade girls
This book was read to me by my second grade daughter. It is certainly one of the better Cam Jansen books. It was a little bit less predictable than some of the other Cam Jansen stories. I would recommend this book to second and third graders, but children older than 3rd grade for the most part would probably think the book is too childish.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cam and Eric, November 25, 2002
A Kid's Review
I think kids will like this book , because when the monkeys were gone it took a long time to find the monkeys , and there were some clues , and there are adventures. I think it is intreresting because Cam and Eric talk to different people.
That was my favorite thing and I think kids will like it.

A Kid's Review
I like the book because it is a mystery about three kids
at the zoo. And then Eric (one of the kids) lost his wallet. And that is just the beginning and then the good part comes. I like it too because it is funny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for young readers, March 31, 2000
I still love kids' books and remember reading this as a child. Very enjoyable and clever.. The Cam Jansen series is excellent and readers will also enjoy the Polka Dot Private Eye series by Patricia Reilly Giff and the Something Queer series by Elizabeth Levy. Both series are mysteries similar to Cam Jansen and for the same age group.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Review from 2TG, May 8, 2007
A Kid's Review
I like Cam Jansen books because when she sees something she says, "Click,"and she can remember what it said. In Cam Jansen and the Mystery at the Mankey House, Cam tries to find where the monkeys went. She also has more adventures in it too! Read this book. It is so good!

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid book for 1st-2nd grader, December 5, 2006
My daughter and I have read all of the "Cam Jansen" books together. Earlier, in 1st grade, I did most of the reading, but by the end of first grade, she has been reading the whole books to me. They are all well-written and help teach her not only new words, but also to think a bit about the "clues" to the different mysteries. If you like mysteries and want to think a bit during childhood reading, try one of these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cam and the monkeys, November 21, 2002
A Kid's Review
I think kids will like this book, because when the monkeys were gone it took many time to find the monkeys, and there were some clues, and there are adventures. I think it is interesting. At end of story, there was the thief, and he went to jail. And that time when the truck was almost going, Cam stopped that truck, and looked in the back, that was my favorite thing and I think kids will like it.
