I've used an earlier edition when I was in high school and finally got around to purchasing this edition for myself. The editors have always done an excellent job with each addition. The book is rich in information and most up-to-date with the latest information. Each page has graphic elements, from several pictures or multiple diagrams. Though thick and heavy, it's great for the coffee table.

Having used this book in my 2002 Art history class, I can say without reservation that is is probably the best Art History book I have studied. A close second would be the History of Modern Art by Arnason. Countless times I have referred to this book for references to art for my blog and personal works of art. If this isn't you schools text book, it should be.

This book is great for my class at college. The book is in good condition, no missing pages and it's clean too.

A very interesting book. Receiving it was like Christmas morning all over again. This one took a while to arrive but that was due to mistakes on my part! Umm arrived in great condition. Everything is clean and tidy just like new. Exactly what my class required and at a decent price.

I had to buy this book for an art history class for college a few days ago. amazon had this book for the cheapest price I could find. The book is huge and very heavy. Im not looking forward to carrying it to class every other day.
