Very general overview,

This book is an incredibly general overview of japa. A lot of the info could be found online. But for a very brief introduction to japa this is alright, and I guess it could be a nice little book to hand to someone asking you what japa is, since the main body of text can be easily read in 20-30 minutes.
The gayatri of Sri Aurobindo at the end could be interesting to someone who knows of him. For me, having never heard of him, it will make for some interesting research to see what it's all about.
