GOOD FOR ELEMENTARY GRADES,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Japan (A to Z) (Paperback)
This book is good for young kids. It provides all things Japanese to match the alphabet. Sometimes the matches are a stretch but does provide young children with insight into a foreign culture.
The book starts with "A" for animals and provides 3 different types (snow monkeys, loggerhead turtles and cicadas) with a brief summary provided for each. Some of the summaries are more detailed then others. This book is a little too detailed to hold the attention of very young kids and might appears babyish for older kids since it is an alphabet book. My kids much preferred Look What Came from Japan over this book.
