Japanese Anime Samurai Katana Sword Rukia White

I bought this sword along with the Ichigo Bankai 52" Wooden sword that Topswords sells as well (thought I would get a discount, but didn't). The sword looks identical to the one used by Rukia in the anime. The hilt is very long, and the blade is dull (again, these are prop swords, not functional). Also, the blade has a huge "CHINA" printed on the side. The ribbon on the end seems like it will stay in place, but is kind of long, so be careful not to step on it while holding it. The sword guard is plastic, but seems to stay put. I especially like the detail of the sword (marked by the little smiley face on the ribbon) and the way the hilt was crafted. It's a steal if you consider it only costs about $24 when I got it.

It is a nice display piece for the price, especially to fans of the anime. The tassel(ribbon) is very cheap and I wouldnt want to go waging mock fights or even handling it a lot but thats the point. IT IS FINE AS A DISPLAY PIECE. Just set it up, lean back and look at it. Probably one of the most visually distinctive swords from the series, it is instantly recognizable for what it is.

The images don't give this item justice. It is a beautifully-crafted replica sword! It looks just like Rukia's blade to the finest detail!
Not functional, of course, but this would be a cosplayer's dream, or a collector's nice eye piece. It really is beautiful.

First off, this sword is obviously not meant to be used at all. It is meant for display and cosplay, not cutting things apart. The blade is not sharp, nor did it mention anywhere in the description that the blade would be. I am rather glad it isn't sharp, since I would then be more inclined to test it's cutting prowess and likely damage this piece.

With that out of the way, the sword itself looks nice, but It is not made particularly well. I snapped off the cap on the sheath the first time I drew it. A dab of super glue fixed the problem. The ribbon on the end is extremely long and carrying it from the living room, where I opened the package, to my bedroom I managed to trip over it several times. The blade is not balanced at all, but the hilt feels very comfortable in my hands.

If you're looking for an interesting item to hang up on a mantle and brag about to all your anime loving friends, this is for you. If you're looking to beat stuff up, you scare me that you would actually consider a 30 dollar sword!

I bought this sword with one day shipping. It arrived on perfect time just like always. When I took it out of the packaging, to my dismay, the sword was bent. It looks as if the sheath was made crooked and the time that it spent in it may have bent the blade, or the other way around. other than that the peice looks beautiful and you can't tell that the blade is bent unless you get really close.

I got this for one reason... for cosplay. With that in mind I wasn't expecting something much. For $16 I couldn't be more happy! I would buy this sword again in an instant. it looks very nice. I'm even a sword buff and love the well forged swords and I can tell immediately that I wasn't going to go out and cut some tatami with this one, but like I said, I got it for cosplay. if cosplay is what you have in mind then GET THIS SWORD!!!

This sword is a very pretty decorative piece, but don't play with it! It's sturdy enough to swing with, but the ribbon is VERY long and you will most likely break it if you step on it (like I did), leaving you with a white katana. It's a very nice sword, but I swung lightly using my 68 inch black ichigo katana, and there were actual cuts into the blade, suggesting its weak durability, so don't try it. It's not sharpened, but the tip is very sharp and can stab someone very easily, so BE CAREFUL! Have fun!

The sword is pretty awesome, very sturdy (so far) although some of the paint was a bit chipped but fix able and I wish they had packaged it better but definitely worth the money

The company fully cooperated with us to get a new, undamaged sword!
We will purchase from ABCyorfor again, this was for my daughter so she was disappointed when it came damaged, so she will be thrilled to get the new one.

I bought this beautiful, unsharpened replica of Rukia`s Sode no Shirayuki with Abarai Renji`s Zabimaru.
This is beautifully crafted, with a silken part and a nice little smiley-bell on it. (the bell sort of reminds me of a halloween smile -laughs-)
This is absolutely worth the money due to its sheer nicely craft.
