I normally wear a size S, but after reading the review by A. Faris, (who claimed that even her "skinny teenaged little sister" couldn't even fit into the M/L) I decided to get the M/L. But much to my disappointment, it ended up being too big for me. Nothing a little re-sewing can't fix, but take it into consideration when purchasing.
On another note, it needs ironing but the fabric is comfortable and gorgeous. The dress isn't too short, but the cleavage is so open that it ends up showing even my bra. (Maybe because it's too big.) Very sexy and cute.

The product itself is gorgeous. The material is nice and not scratchy and the obi/belt has a nice range of hook and eye closures. Only problem is the medium/large is actually very very small. My skinny teenaged little sister couldn't even fit into it. Not sure if they shipped me the small on accident, but if not it's ridiculously sized.
I purchased this elsewhere and thought a M/L would fit (I'm usually a size 8-10). Well, it seemed like it should have been labeled a S/M. The top is very large and billowy, but the waist is cinched in quite a bit, and I couldn't get the obi around my waist at all (and it had 2-3 size options for the clasps). So if you have a tiny waist, you can probably get your "normal" size - although a big chest or hips could make it difficult to get in and out of because the zipper does not unzip past the waist. If I could get it in a larger size, I probably would because it is adorable.
