This is a beautiful book
This book has some of the most exquisite designs that you will find. The instructions are easy to follow and the photographs show the designs beautifully. It is a delight to have. I have shown it to fellow quilters and they are all going to buy it for themselves.

Very Bland
I found the applique process described in the book fairly interesting. And the floral patterns are definitely usable, even if the selection is rather limited. However, I think the author's choice of fabric was a poor one.. The illustrations are drab and without life / depth... I am hesitating on making this quilt -- If it turns out like the author's I'd be disappointed...

A gorgeoous book of Japanese florals to applique. The directions are clear and complete, altho the designs have to be enlarged from the templates given. Beautifully illustrated and color selections are numerous. Make a few blocks or the complete quilt--either way the results are outstanding.
