1.0 out of 5 stars Low quality & too light - look for a better one, December 21, 2010

This review is from: Japanese Kitchen Gyutou Sushi Knife
This knife is really low quality - they sell for about $5 in Japan and that really shows in the workmanship.

It's blade is very dull out of the box and too light for any practical use. The best part about this knife may well be it's real-wood handle!

Unfortunately I can't recommend anything in this price range, you will have to spend at least twice as much at a local Japanese store or here:
