I bought this for my husband because he wanted to stop drinking coffee and really does give him that boost that he needs in the morning. I have bought this tea and shared it with the rest of my family and everyone loves it!! It puts you in an upbeat mood and gives you that energy that you need on rainy days.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1 Stop Tea Shop!, October 19, 2010

I have been ordering my tea from this place for approx 2yrs now. Iam a huge shop around girl and this place has earned my loyalty for all my tea needs. They are HIGHLY knowledgeable about there product, there response time is almost immediate, you WON'T find better quality teas for less and they ship so fast, I recall receiving my tea before my netflix order. I got into green tea initally because of all the health benefits. Since drinking this tea I've just noticed an extra pep in my step if you will. It has caffiene of course but it's metabolised different than coffee, I'm not left feeling jittery. I personally love the Izu Matcha tea, but whatever your preference of tea I guarantee this is the best place to be. Cheer & Good Health to you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Izu Matcha is the best!, November 16, 2010
This review is from: Japanese Izu Matcha. Gourmet Japanese Gyokuro Base Matcha. Net Wt: 1/2 lb. (Makes 100 Cups) (Misc.)
I ordered from this company about a year and I was very happy with the quality of the tea. I was nervous about ordering it as I had read a lot about how you need to get a really good kind, and not go for the "cheap" stuff. This has exceeded my expectations! I usually drink it more when I am getting, or am sick, and makes what ever it is go away quick, usually sore throats,( I average about 2 cups of the thick brew a day when sick). My 2 favorite ways to drink it is hot with milk and sugar, and also taking that and blending it up with ice for a "frappuccino" effect. To get the best experience I recommend that you use/purchase a bowl/matcha cup so you can properly use the whisk, also purchase a bamboo whisk with a lot of prongs, makes a big difference,(thinkbamboo.com won't let you down) and get it frothy! You won't be disappointed! :D
