NYC and the Beach all in one, December 24, 2009

I took a chance on this album because of a review I read. I am extremely pleased. I like The Strokes and these guys definitely have the New York sound going but it sounds more like the Strokes got together with Lou Reed. On a few songs you would think that Brian Wilson was producing. The group has a fun sound and they still have the raw edge that makes them enjoyable. I just don't understand how they came up with the name of the band.
