This review is from: Japanese Teapots (Form and Function Series) (Paperback)
As one can guess from the title, this book deals with a specific type of teapot that, from the chinese archetype, evolved with caracteristics intrinsecally japanese. It's a quite old book with b/w photos but it's a must have because of the interesting text and the scarce not japanese literature available on this matter. Was probably possible supply more information but the purpose was an introductory level, I think.
Interesting description (with photos) of the different parts assembled to make the final object. Not easy to find book. |
