This series is an amazing and overall outstanding approach to learning Japanese. I ordered it last summer and was done with the first book in a week. I am now in school, but have had enough time to finish the second and am currently on this one. This book's use of kana and kanji with furigana (kana under the kanji for pronunciation) are extremely effective with reading and learning to write. This book also is great with grammar and helps teach a lot of vocabulary. For anyone that has learned another foreign language and understands it (as I know Spanish, German, and English), this is a breeze; I would also reccomend this to new learners as well. This book is fun and easy to learn at any level. I highly reccomend this book to anyone that is interested in learning or even getting a better command of the Japanese.
