This is tight., November 3, 2008
(From someone who speaks no Portuguese..) This is just straight tasty.
An unapologetic feel-good record, and one that will get your head nodding, your hips moving, and/or the corners of your mouth up, depending on how seriously you take yourself..
(No less, knocking elbows with and dislodging all the bleak, post-artistic, anti-fun slop crowding the independent scene.) Hello dance floor, how we've missed you..
Good album top to bottom, but especially peep "Compacto" and "Kyoto" - the former hosts Gift of Gab and Lateef the Truthspeaker.
And if you haven't, check out "Guerreiro" from Curumin's other record, Achados e Perdidos, which is also funky and dope.

The price for this high quality CD was awesome. Delivery was sooner than expected as well. This CD is not easy to find anywhere else in the U.S. so I was very happy to find it available on Amazon at such a fair price.
