Not any better than the drugstore brands. Keep on looking for a better one. The sharpening does not produce a smooth pencil.

I love this sharpener! It does the job well on any type of "pencil." I have never had it come apart by accident, either. So, it's very clean and efficient. Best sharpener I've ever used.

I have search high and low for an eyebrow pencil sharpener that would sharpen the larger crayon type pencils. This one is the best. It holds the shavings for discarding later and it sharpens quickly with just a few turns. I will never use any other sharpener. I plan to order extra ones.
