Jelly Jars,
The product is what was expected. We ordered 2 dozen jars and only received one dozen. About a week later, when the second dozen did not arrive, we called Goodman and they could see only one dozen went out and promptly shipped the second dozen.

These jars are perfect for a little more jelly in the jar. The quilted appearance makes it a really pretty jar showcasing the jellies you have made. I prefer the 12oz over the 4 oz and the 8 oz. Well worth the time effort and the money spent to pass these little beauties on with your homemade jellies.

Best jelly jars for signature recipes,

Usually I put up jams and jellies into the 8 oz jars as they are most convenient for shipping as christmas gifts. But sometimes I want to be a little more generous with a favorite recipe, so last Autumn I specially ordered the 12 oz quilted crystal jars. It was a good decision. My wild pomegranate jelly is special; a tried-and-true recipe that my friends and family request year after year. A recipe like that deserves to be shown off in a more expensive quilted crystal jar in my opinion. Not only are these quilted crystal jars prettier for jellies but they add that extra bit of class to holiday gifts. Plus, the 12 oz size is luxurious without being too big for the jelly to set properly (doubly important if you are making a recipe without added pectin). These 12 ozers are also a good size for home made syrups. Ball jars of any type have always sealed nicely for me and I am still reusing some of the first ones I bought in the 1990s. These are a great investment if you enjoy canning. |
