I cry when I hear this CD.,

This CD is just beautiful. For me, it's one of those CD's that gets better every time I hear it. With each new listen, I pick up some more of the witty and sometimes sensitive/sometimes caustic lyrics of Amelia Fletcher. Some of the guitar works is reminiscent of Johnny Marr's work. Oddly, I don't find that comparison holding true for other Heavenly albums; though, they're all really good in their own ways. This was the first Heavenly CD I found, and I still think it's the best one out there. Check out their new incarnation, Marine Research, too!

Heavenly is cheery without being obnoxiously positive. They'll sing about how they feel betrayed by their boyfriend but will make you feel happy about it at the same time. Overall fun, different, and uncategorizable (or whatever the word is for that.)This albumn, especially, makes me want to jump up and down on my bed.

really great album from these sweet boys and girls. sounds a bit like Belle and Sebastian but with less twee and more musical muscle. i think i must have played the track "C Is The Heavenly Option" hundreds of times. delightful pop with a smart and sassy edge...recommended for fans of the Cardigans, and of course Talulah Gosh.

When Heavenly was truly heavenly,

I love the fact that Heavenly grew up, toughened up, and diversified after this album. Nevertheless, this one shines brightest due to its simple, unspoiled beauty of sentiment and sound.
