This headset is a great value and provides a great crisp sound via the microphone.

In fact, it would appear that all three joints have the potential of breaking.

The headset was very comfortable to wear and the sound was excellent. However, there's a very weak joint between the two sides of the headset. The joint makes it foldable, but also very fragile. Mine snapped after just a few months of use. It's not covered by warranty so GE won't replace it.

I've bought about a total of 3 of these for gaming use and this particular Headset works perfectly. On Vent I've been told I sound great and I've even tested it.(Great for a Removable Mic!) Also the set is collapsible so it can fit in your pocket if you need to carry it.

Downside: A bit Flimsy. The Cable is a little thin, and the "sock" covering the mic and the ear peaces have also came off after some wear or being not fully cared for. But this is with constant gaming use.

But I still really like the set due to it's Sound, Mic Quality, and comfort. So I know I will be buying a few more.

This little headset rocks. I use them for Skype, and also for amateur radio. I've done side-by-side compares of this headset with models costing 2x - 3x from "big name" companies like Plantronics; and this model pwned them all.

I love how the microphone is removable; I've used just the mic by itself with my Dell D420 and the built-in speakers.

I agree with other reviewers that the foam covers are somewhat flimsy. In my mind this isn't a big deal; for the price of another headset with bad audio I can buy *3* of these and have spares--which is exactly what I did.

My biggest fear is that GE/Jasco will discontinue the model and not replace it with something equal or better.

Headset is very comfortable, inexpensive and sounds great. I use the set several hours per day at work and has held up very well. It has a volume control and mute on the wire about 6 inches below the headset, which works very well and in a convenient position for control. Volume can be turned up/down quickly during those calls with differing volume levels of talkers. Headset produces very good sound and reduces external noise levels effectively (doesn't eliminate them, but reduces adequately).

People say I sound like I'm on a home phone over skype calls. I like the mike cause you can disconnect it and plug straight to laptop if just need a mike or to use speakers on laptop and make it speaker phone. Folds up to a fair size, but appears fragile (haven't broke yet)

I had started an online job at home using my comp. for another company and needed a dedicated headset. Unfortunately, I did not ask if this set had usb hookup (which it didn't). I explained that to this company, and they were kind enough to advise me to keep the item and they would refund my purchase amount. Needless to say, that is GREAT customer service! The headset can be used for gaming, or whatever and is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Some of the other reviews claim that the joints that allow you to fold up the headphones would break, and they are right. In fact, it would appear that all three joints have the potential of breaking. Me and my friend got a pair, and one of the joints on the side broke, and mine broke from the joint in the back. I also suspect the wiring to be pretty cheap too. It's good for a couple of months, but it is not built to last. Interesting concept with the detachable microphone, but you are definitely better off buying something more durable for the price.

These are pretty handy because they are fold-able and the mic comes off. However, contrary to what others saw, I would say the stereo quality for listening to music is very poor. I haven't found their specs or the type of magnet and diaphragm, but I assume these would be at a low standard. But for Skype type applications they might be perfect!
