Amazing, June 24, 2001
Although I've had this album for quite a while it was good to see Amazon starting to carry it, and for a great import price. I loved Ich Bin Weider Hier so much that I bought the single, and that is another CD to look for; all the mixes are worthwhile. Wilkommen In Meinem Garten is also one of the best on here. If you are new to Blumchen, this is a great starter. It shows what good, happy, upbeat Eurodance and electronica can sound like. However, you also begin to hear the more pop-style leaking in for a few of the tracks. Unfortunately this seems to be the direction she is headed. Her best albums were first, Herzfrequenz and Verliebt, but this is still a must-buy.Also note this is import is almost three years old and getting harder to find by the day. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up while you can, you won't be disappointed! As you may have guessed it does have German lyrics but that shouldn't shy anyone away. They are simple words but her voice is beautiful, which sounds good in any language. But I doubt few would argue that the real star is the DJ/composer of her music, Paralyzer. Excellent beats, catchy tunes... you can't be depressed when listening to classic Blumchen. While the version I have is die Fanedition with extra tracks, a data CD of music videos, and keyring, you get much of the same of great Eurodance reminscient of her other works. Sadly, you do miss out on Tu es Mon Ile, the Yta Farrow Remix of Du bist ein Insel (You are My Island) and Heut' Ist Mein Tag (Today is My Day). These two without question are the best songs on the disc, which may disappoint fans who can only find this version. However that doesn't dissuade me from a 5 star rating because of the price and increasing rarity. I paid twice as much for mine. What can I say but wunderbar!

It doesn't get much better than this, June 6, 2003
Sexy voice from a sexy girl, need I say more? The lyrics are simple enough that anyone can understand them, even though they are in German. After downloading her music from my school network, I was hooked, and just had to get her CDs. This is not a style I normally listen to (being a classic rock fan), but I will listen to her any day. I also reccommend "Die Welt gehort Dir", for a much different sound from her, to complement this.

Blumig!, September 27, 2002
The third album by the ex-Eurodance-queen. She changed her sound. There are a lot more ballads and more pop. There's less dance and more lyrics. Ich bin wieder hier:(I am back again) Yes Blümchen is back again That's what she shows us with this dancesong. Automatisch: (Automatic) Another Blümchen-song in wich she says that she is a oh-so-in-love-with-a-cute-guy-teenagergirl Blaue Augen:(Blue eyes) Coverversion of a new wave-hit. Blümchen sings tha she doesn't give a damn if MTV plays her songs. Let me tell you that MTV NEVER played her songs. Immer noch verliebt:(Still in love) Not a ballad but she slows a little bit down. It's so-so Denk noch mal drüber nach. (Think about it once again) A ballad. nice Willkommen in meinem Garten: (Welcome to my garden) The best song on this CD. It:s like an early Blümchen song. Less lyrics but great dance beats. Hand in Hand - Gewalt ist doof. (Hand in hand - Violence is stupid): A song against violence in school. She helped writing the meaningful lyrics Ganz bald: (Very soon) A slow and boring ballad. Der Beste von allen: (The best of all). Again a fast song. It's so-so U-Bahn: (Subway) Another boring ballad So wie ein Wunder:(Just like a winder) A dance song. The lyrics are extremely silly Nur für euch:(Just for you) Blümchen says thank you to her fans. Well done Es ist vorbei) (It's over) Another romantic ballad
