5.0 out of 5 stars Youth Asylum's "Jasmin", September 30, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Jasmin (Audio CD)
Youth Asylum is a group of 6 culturally diverse boys. These six gifted, bright young men between the ages of 13 and 16 have burst on the scene, generating high expectations and rave reviews. In alphabetical order, Youth Asylum is Derek, Donnell, Flashlight, Jason, Kevin and Leo. Already they've completed a successful 11-city tour as featured artists with Tommy Hilfiger Children's Fashion Shows and are ready to make a lasting imprint on Youth of our nation with a middle school tour planned for this spring. Their first single is "Jasmin". This song has a good guitar instrumental sound. So it's just not all synthetic music. The vocals are good. There is also a hint of r&b/ hip hop to it. So if you're into pop and hiphop r&b, Youth Asylum is a great choice.

hey everyone, I'm just writing this review to tell you some about youth asylum. They are mainly like the rest of the boybands except i think they are a little different. They're style is not quite the same, and is kind of a younger version of nsync or backstreet boys. Kind of like "dream street". The jasmin single is kind of a happy song, singing about a girl named jasmin. They dont have any songs right now like nsync's "it's gonna be me" they are more like "semi fast" songs that seem like they can be played by a life band. Anyways i dont know why the album has not come out yet, but i do know kevin very well (a member in the band) and i will email him tomorrow and ask him about the album and when it's going to come out, i already the album, i got it last november from him but it has not been released yet. I'll get back to all of you as soon as possible! hope this helps!
