5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful cream!
This cream has a nice, smoothe, homogenous texture that stays on and protects baby. It applies easily and has a pleasant frangrance unlike most diaper creams. Additionally, it does not contain parabens.

2.0 out of 5 stars nasty texture, doesn't work, and seems to hurt!, February 22, 2012

I bought this b/c I was excited to see an ointment that was safer for my baby's skin, and I thought the Aloe Vera & Vitamin E would help. What I found, though, was that the ointment itself was disgusting. It's all separated, and whenever I squeeze the tube, clear liquid comes out the top. It doesn't really go on or stay on well, and after several days of use, there was no improvement in the diaper rash. What's worse, is that it really seemed to sting when we used it. Finally I just went out and bought a new tube of a more popular brand, and it immediately cleared up the rash without causing any pain or discomfort. Even though I have a mostly full tube, I'll probably end up throwing it out.

this is a great natural alternative to detatin or other diaper rash creams. the amazon price you cannot beat since you get 2 tubes of this stuff for a little more than the widely available destatin. This stuff is not available at stores around me so this is a great find on amazon.com

5.0 out of 5 stars Best we have used, July 18, 2011

This is the best diaper cream we have found. As others have said, it is sometimes a little "watery", but you just have to rub it in a little longer. Diaper rash goes away within hours.

2.0 out of 5 stars Love this company, hate this product, October 29, 2010

We are big fans of this company - we use their diapers, wipes, ointment, and food. However, this diaper ointment is terrible. As another reviewer noted, the ointment separates in the tube into oil/oily water and ointment. So often when you squeeze the tube, the oily mess squirts out first, easily dripping on the carpet/baby/you/etc. Then the ointment that comes out has been precoated with the oily stuff, so it doesn't spread well, nor does it appear to adhere to the baby's bum at all. The moment the lotion is touched by the diaper, it wipes away, so I can't imagine that it offers any protection! Very disappointing product from an otherwise great company.

I like using organic products, especially when it has to do with my little boy's tender areas, but i just did not like this diaper cream at all. First off, it is not mixed well & when you open it to squirt some out, a lot of watery liquid comes out too, making a mess. I think also for the same reason, it does not spread on well and sticks to my finger rather than his bottom. To make my life easier, i had to empty the contents of the squirt tube into a small tub with a screw-top lid to mix the contents and scoop out more easily just to get my money's worth. All in all, so not worth the trouble. If you like organic products, California Dream is your best bet.

Our son is allergic to many things...including a lot of diaper creams. But Earth's Best has the best stuff out there and doesn't irritate our little one. Amazon usually has the best price out there - so I always check here first.

4.0 out of 5 stars Healthier choice, May 8, 2008

This is not a perfect product. My 2 year old daughter looked whiter than a ghost in a snow storm. It is also a bit thick.

However,

There are very few alternatives to the chemical laiden toddler/baby sunscreens out there. Whatever I put on her skin is absorbed into her body. I wanted something like this to protect from the sun and from these dangerous chemicals. Based on the research I did, Jason's was a fair price and has been effective in preventing burns (it did need to be reapplied after a few hours of play or less for swimming). I recommend that anyone interested in finding alternatives to the typical products companies produce and the FDA passes without much concern for our children to check out cosmeticdatabase.com. It gives ratings for many products based on the toxicity of their ingredients (0 is the least dangerous, 10 is the worst). We have used this site to choose our families sunsreen, shampoo, deoderant, make-up, diaper rash cream, lotions, toothpaste, etc. It's unfortunate, but nevertheless the case that we need to look out for ourselves because nobody else is.
