I use mine to hold my laptop computer. It supports the computer nicely, and protects my legs from excessive heat. It's very well made, much better than the cheaper plastic models. Also works well for writing letters, and serving meals in front of TV.

I like these trays. I already had one but needed another since I don't always watch TV dinners alone.

The tray is good with a nice design - I only have one complaint and that is the annoying sticker that the manufacturer/artist attaches to the design which is very difficult to remove. I took a star off for this, plus these trays are quite expensive (much cheaper in Europe where they are more popular).

A hint to companies who make products - put stickers on that peel off easily, especially if you are marketing these for older people. I'm not in that bracket yet but if I was, I'd be even more annoyed!

This is a good lap tray for writing notes on or putting drinks on or any other type of thing you might need a lap tray for. It's French motif is very pretty to look at so it needn't be put out of sight when guests come. The only thing I don't love about it is the bean bag bottom. I wished it had more traditional hard bottom or arms that fold out when needed as it sits a little lopsided when in use. Good price tho and for that price, a good quality. I agree with other reviewers tho, that the sticker they put on the face of the thing is most annoying to try to get off.
