hey rock 'n roll, i've been looking for you,

it's been awhile since you could mention the word "rock" and truly spark a feeling. with all the cookie cutters and bubble gummers out there, the state of rock 'n roll leaves something to be desired. if you've been yearning for the glory days of toe tappin', finger snappin', and hand clappin'...then this just might be the spark for you.to try and pinpoint one particular style of "The Jason Martinko Revue" would be like calling authentic New Orleans jumbalaya just plain ol' soup. the main ingredient of theirs is truly original rock 'n roll, add in the drive and passion of springsteen, the electricity of chuck berry, and the sheer DIY determination of the punk attitude...throw it all into a pot, and the soul of their music is born. these songs where their heart on their sleeve, and the sweat in their hands. tracks like "Jukebox Music" & "If This Was Cline Street" will make you long for those backwoods jukejoints...

The Jason Martinko Revue is old-school rock and roll with a punk rock twist! Every song is full of each members pure love for music and rock & roll! My favorite songs so far have to be "Jukebox Music", "This Ain't My Home" and "Desarae"! If you are a fan of Bruce Springsteen or the stripped down sound of rock or if you own and love the 50's rock& roll in the Loud, Fast and Out of Control boxset - this CD needs to be in your music collection!

I bought this CD when it first came out last year, and recently pulled it down to listen to again. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it! All of his tracks are very unique; that's what makes them so good. There's nothing like this on the radio, and that's what especially like about it. Looking forward to another one!

Remember when rock 'n roll still had soul? The Jason Martinko Revue sure do and they're here to baptize all the non-believers. Hallelujah!

I've been listening to Jason and his band for a couple of years now and one thing is for sure, they don't disappoint. This newest CD "The Jason Martinko Revue" hits on all cylinders. After listening to this CD, its apparent that their influences and roots reflect just about all types of music for the listener's pleasure. The band is very tight and Jason's vocals set the tone for good story telling or just flat out rock n' roll. They don't seem to have any restrictions as they play such a wide variety of musical genre. If you're looking for someone new to listen to, check out "The Jason Martinko Revue"...Keep it rocking!

The whole album is a refreshing breath proving that rock is not dead! Each song is a totally new experience; no two songs on the album can be classified in the exact same way. The Jason Martinko Revue can not be classified, or better yet, they will not be pigeoned toed. There are old blues tracks, as well as 50's bee-boop, 60's funk, and modern day rock. Some songs have elements of all of the above. I think they may be generating a whole new radio station with this one album. I recommend that everyone purchase this album, so they can enjoy the new face of music to come.... I cannot wait for the next release from these guys!
