seriously funniest SNL since the early 2000s! Tons of cameos from the old cast. And Jimmy did not laugh thru any sketches!!

The main reason I keep watching ITS ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA is because of Charlie Day and Danny DeVito. Although I've seen DeVito in lots of other tv and film, I've seen Day in nothing else. It was a real pleasure to see him on SNL and I got to see the much broader range of his talent. He is very, very good at virtually everything he does, including playing the piano and harmonica! Maroon 5 was the musical talent and Adam Levine's voice was divine as usual.

As for the skits, two really stand out. One is the ghost of Gadahfi broadcasting from Hell to clue everyone in as to how his new life is down there. The other is the Kardashian sisters, including mom Kris Jenner and botoxed husband Bruce. The SNL crew are making the comedic most of Kim's divorce after 72 days of marriage to basketball player Kris Humpries, played by Andy Samberg, who can barely sign the wedding license with an X. As icing on the cake: Danny DeVito shows up to help his sitcom buddy Charlie Day. This is a must see episode of SNL.

Melissa McCarthy was the host this time. She was fresh off her Emmy win for best lead comedian on MIKE AND MOLLY. She also was a big hit in BRIDESMAIDS. Her kind of comedy is very physical. It harkens back to Vaudeville where she can take a pratfall with the best of them, which she does numerous times in her Mae West send-up. She also excels at pie in your face type gags but her version is tons of salad dressing on her face and the rest of it going down her gullet.

Roseanne Barr would also do just about anything for a laugh on her shows and in stand-up, so MM reminds me of her. This is NOT my favorite kind of comedy so I can't say I am a red hot fan of this work. However, if you like this kind of comedy, you will LOVE her.

The musical act was Lady Antebellum. I did not like the first number but the second number was pretty good. I may listen to them a little more before making up my mind about the group.

I am a big One Direction fan, really the main reason why I bought this video. Ran through the whole video, NO One Direction Performance, finally realized they cut the performances out. What's the point??? Asked for money back.

Why does Season 37, the Maya Rudolph episode, not include the hilarious Beyoncé Blue Ivy skit? It is hilarious. Don't buy this episode if you are looking for that skit.

I laughed so hard I cried. I absolutely loved this episode because Melissa M was in it....nobody could have pulled it off the way she did...she is a female Chris Farley with the physical humor....maybe even better! LOVE HER!!!!
