It 's funny how liberals have glommed onto the Norway shooter's wild statements about being a Christian and having allies in the Republican Party of the US, when he actually has no connection with any Christian church and certainly none with the Republicans. As usual, they're creating links that don't exist to attack groups they don't like. Enter Pvt. Naser Jason Abdo, would-be Islamic terrorist, with documented links to the left-wing "peace" groups Iraqi Veterans Against the War and Courage to Resist. In fact, most "peace" groups during the Cold War and afterwards have less to do with peace than with fronting left-wing radicals and very often have had terrorist connections. For example, during the '80s & '90s the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador (CISPES) openly supported Communist insurgents in El Salvador, defining them and their "masas" as the "people of El Salvador" even though they were a tiny, violent minority. Among other crimes, they were guilty of the Zona Rosa Massacre in which they murdered 6 unarmed Americans and 7 bystanders at a sidewalk cafe in San Salvador. What's interesting about CISPES is its connection with the left wing of the US Congress, some of whom are still in office, and possibly Obama, who wrote approvingly of it in one of the very few of his writings from his time at Columbia that escaped being sealed. Of course, this group isn't alone with Congressional leftist connections, and I think it's high time to stop giving liberals a free pass - if they're going to attack conservatives using links that don't really exist, then their real, documented connections with left-wing terrorists should be splashed across the front pages.
